• Excellent book to create a simplified sale prospecting program. The book emphasis the need to make calls and create appointments. With the system in place a pipeline of sales prospects are developed for years to come. Easy reading."
• Fantastic book dispelling the myths of sales and sales strategies. The first all encompassing statistical analysis of the sales process costing over $1,000,000. Even the myth of it taking 5 contacts to make a sale has never been proven. See the facts for yourself. Highly recommended." |

• If you love to think about possibilities, Gott takes you on a wave of theories like a roller coaster. At each turn you must question the realities of our own world while at the same time spreading your wings to new thought. As much as the book might appear to be a common man's read, it's content can be extremely complex to grasp. The author assumes the reader understands 10 to the -93 power using physics and mathematics to offer the proof. A great book if your interested in reaching beyond the stars or seeing your past.
• One of the great minds alive today, Stephen Hawkings takes on the topics of black holes, time, the universe and a host of other questions that define the universe we live in. Reading this book will surely make you wonder how much we can accomplish as Stephen speaks through a computer and has been wheelchair bound for close to 30 years. A must read for any leader looking to expand the realm of possibility.
• Gleick paints a beautiful picture of the world around in the science term of chaos. To the everyday eye the world at times seems random and complex. The world of chaos shows order when understanding the science that has helped understand such studies such as weather prediction. A fascinating account of the history of chaos. |

Years past the decision to form alliances were primarily used as a last ditch effort to save a corporation. Today Alliances are more a tool of management. Corporations now use partnerships for all sorts of reasons such as reaching markets, entering industries, surviving under market changes, global issues etc. The value in the concepts taught is that management now has a practical means of working through the complexities of deciding on the type of alliances, managing human resources, getting company 1st string participation as well knowing expectations. In a world where a company might not get a second chance...make sure you know where your headed up front. Buy it! |

• As CEO of Siebel Systems, Tom Siebel has created one of the fastest growing CRM businesses in the world. With that in mind the expectation is that the book would give insight and direction into the future of technology as well as how he created his empire. The book lacked such results and gave a basic level of technology. If you are looking for a book that gives the 101 approach to item such as Moore's law use this as a reference....not an eye opening experience.
• A very poorly written book. The author seemed to make predictions that have almost all been wrong. There appears to be a lot of information but no educational value. A do not read... there are quite a few much better books on the subject.
• Taking a look at strategic tactics for the information age is not always easy or even current. This book is a culmination of a series of journal publications that are valid in their perspective markets. Some might appear to be out dated. Your call on if it's worth the effort.
• Fantastic book on the struggle of leadership to transform IBM Rochester MN. The book outlines the journey taken to release the most successful product launch in history the AS400. Interested in new product design, teamwork, leadership and so many other important issues than pick up the book. Quick read.
• As much as this was a hyped book, it was awkward to read in style. Messages were repeated over and over and over again while ranting and raving littered the pages. To find the good in spending the time with the book, I loved the chapter Hyperlinked. Four authors wrote different sections and for me, this gave the best read. |
